Salahuddin Alamgir takes charge as Modhumoti Bank chairman

Salahuddin Alamgir has been elected chairman of Modhumoti Bank PLC.

The election was held at the 98th meeting of the bank’s board of directors on Tuesday at its head office in Gulshan, Dhaka, according to a press release.

Mohammad Ismail Hossain was elected vice-chairman, while Mostafa Kamal and A Mannan Khan were elected chairman of the executive committee and chairman of the risk management committee, respectively.

Members of the bank’s board of directors attended the meeting and congratulated the newly elected leadership with floral greetings.

Humayun Kabir, Nemai Kumar Saha, Tanjima Binthe Mostafa, Sultana Jahan, Tanveer Ahmed Mostafa of Md Mahbubur Rahman, directors of the bank; Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, independent director; and Md Shafiul Azam, managing director and chief executive officer, were also present at the meeting.
