Guardian Life to insure Fiber@Home staff, dependents

Guardian Life Insurance Limited has entered into a partnership agreement with Fiber@Home Limited, a telecommunications service provider in Bangladesh, to provide comprehensive life coverage and medical benefits for the company’s employees and their family members.

Through this agreement, employees and their dependents will also have access to quality healthcare services through Guardian’s nationwide network of more than 450 partner hospitals across Bangladesh.

Sheikh Rakibul Karim, chief executive officer of the life insurer, and Brig Gen (retd) Md Rafiqur Rahman, managing director of the telecommunications service provider, signed the agreement at the insurer’s head office in Gulshan, Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Commenting on the partnership, Karim said comprehensive employee benefits are becoming increasingly important for organisations seeking to attract and retain talent.

“Through this partnership with Fiber@Home Limited, we will ensure that employees and their family members have access to dependable life and medical coverage, enabling them to focus on their work with greater peace of mind and financial security,” he added.

Saniyat Rahman, assistant managing director and chief enterprise business officer of the insurer; Ghazi Rafi Ahmed Shams, senior vice-president and head of group business; Iftakher Ahmed, senior vice-president and deputy head of group services; Mohammad Soieb, senior assistant vice-president and group business lead; and Mubassir Bushra, key account manager, attended the event.

Jasim Uddin, chief financial officer of the telecommunications service provider; Kazi Salauddin, company secretary; Md Masud Rabbi, chief human resources officer; Md Lutful Kabir, senior manager of human resources; and Saddam Hossain, deputy manager, along with other senior officials from both organisations, were also present.
