Dhaka bourse’s index crosses 7,000 points after eight working days

The Dhaka bourse's index rose to over 7,000 points today after a break of eight working days.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), increased 42.94 points, or 0.61 per cent, to 7,025 until 1:06 pm.

So far, 205 stocks advanced, 119 fell and 48 remained the same at the DSE.

At the time of the submission of the report, Brac Bank was leading the gainers' list with a 9.93 per cent rise followed by Sena Kalyan Insurance, Shinepukur Ceramics, Genex Infosys, and Salvo Chemicals.
