Dhaka stocks rise for second day

Most shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened higher for the second consecutive day today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 65 points, or 1 per cent, to 6,536 at 12:30 pm. Turnover stood at Tk 1,503 crore.

Of the securities, 151 advanced, 116 declined and 109 did not show any price movement.
