Mastercard rolls out Ramadan, Eid rewards campaign

Mastercard has launched its Ramadan and Eid campaign for 2026, titled “Payment in One Tap for Festive Joy”, aimed at making everyday festive spending more rewarding for cardholders throughout the holy month and in the lead-up to Eid-ul-Fitr.

As part of the campaign, Mastercard has rolled out a “Grocery Spend & Win” initiative across eight major supershop chains in Bangladesh -- Shwapno, Unimart, Agora, Meena Bazar, Lavender, Prince Bazar, Daily Shopping and Alfamart.

Running from February 5 to March 20, 2026, the campaign is open to Mastercard debit, credit and prepaid cardholders making purchases at participating outlets nationwide.

Cardholders with the highest cumulative spending during the campaign period will win premium home appliance vouchers worth Tk 100,000, along with gadget and grocery vouchers. There will be multiple winners from each partner merchant.

Commenting on the campaign, Syed Mohammad Kamal, country manager for Bangladesh at Mastercard, said, “Ramadan is a time when families come together, daily spending increases around essentials and dining, and preparations for Eid extend into lifestyle and travel.

“Mastercard’s Ramadan & Eid campaign is designed to support this full spectrum of festive needs by making everyday payments more rewarding, secure and convenient.

“By working closely with partners across key spending categories, Mastercard aims to add meaningful value to cardholders’ celebrations while fostering greater confidence in digital payments,” he added.

Beyond essential shopping, the campaign will unlock a range of category-wise festive deals to enhance the Ramadan and Eid experience for Mastercard cardholders.

Cardholders will receive up to 30 percent discounts across 50 lifestyle brands. They will also enjoy “Buy 1 Get” offers of up to four items on iftar and dinner at around 50 partner restaurants.

In addition, cardholders will receive up to 70 percent discounts on international travel packages, along with attractive savings on domestic hotels and resorts.

These offers have been curated in collaboration with leading partners across lifestyle, dining and travel categories.
