Commward communication summit Aug 29

The fifth edition of Commward, the country’s biggest initiative in recognising and inspiring creative communication, will be held in Dhaka on August 29.

The grand award giving ceremony for the most creative and effective advertisement campaigns will be hosted in Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, a press release of Bangladesh Brand Forum said today.

This year, the Commward received record number of 367 nominations from 36 advertising agencies and creative departments of various organisations.

The debutant categories this year are: art direction and campaign for women. Awards will be given in three ranks, namely Grand Prix, Gold & Silver.

A new recognition “Agency of the Year” will be given to the agency earning the highest score on its total win of grand prix, gold and silver.

Commward recognises and inspires creative communication in business and marketing since 2009 through recognition of the best ad campaigns produced and run in the country every year.

It is organised in association with Cannes Lions Festival of Creative Communication, the largest international event on creative communication since 1954.
