Teacher missing for 15 days

A female teacher of the city's Maple Leaf International School has been missing for the last 15 days.

Ferdousi Ekram Fousia, aged around 30, is a teacher of mathematics in the senior section of the school's Dhanmondi campus, said Shomir Chandra Sutradhar, inspector (investigation) of Kalabagan Police Station.

Fousia left home on the evening of July 2, saying she was going to meet a student, the inspector said quoting family members.

AKM Ehsan Ullah, elder brother of Fousia, filed a general diary with Kalabagan Police Station the next day in connection with her going missing. The unmarried teacher was living with her family at an apartment in the capital's Kalabagan, police said.

Inspector Shomir said police were yet to find any clue about the missing case.
