Man stabbed to death in capital

A man was stabbed to death in the capital’s Mohammadpur area last night.

The dead is Suman Sikder, 25. No details about him could be known as of filing this report at 1:00am     today.

Md Wahiduzzaman, additional deputy commissioner of Tejgaon division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter to The Daily Star.

“We would investigate if there was any political motive behind the murder,” he said.

Morgue sources said police brought the dead body with stab injuries around midnight.
