‘Proyash - Battle to Save a Life’ is a charity concert, organised by Joyoddhoney, CUET, alongside Chittagong Student Forum and cuetnews24.com. The event aims to help Meherin Islam, a young girl suffering from severe kidney failure. She needs BDT 25 lakhs for her treatment and recovery.

Renowned musical couple Labik Kamal Gaurob and Nobonita Chowdhury have released Bondhu Doyamoy, a heartfelt cover of Radharaman Datta's original piece. Published by G-Series, the song was arranged by Gaurob himself, while the video was directed by Manju Ahmed. National Award winning composer and music director Alauddin Ali passed away at the capital's Universal Medical College Hospital at 5:50 pm today. He was 68 years old at the time of passing, and was kept on life support as his condition deteriorated.
