First look at Deepika's stunning Padmavati

As “Padmavati”, one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of the year gears up for its release, the hype train is gaining speed with two new posters released online yesterday giving fans the first glimpse of Deepika Padukone's regal titular role.

The lead actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor had earlier taken to twitter and unveiled the first title poster of “Padmavati” with a word that Queen Padmavati will arrive the following morning.

Keeping up with the promise, two new posters were unveiled by the team disclosing Deepika's majestic look on Thursday. Sporting a unibrow, Deepika is seen heavily bejeweled, giving out every aura of the quintessential Rajput queen.

Right from her costumes to her jewelry to her looks, Deepika comes out as a fearless and beautiful queen of Chittor which the legendary Rani Padmini stood for.

The poster also clarified the confusing reports about its release date. After much ado, the film will finally release on December 1. Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.

The film went through its share of troubles during filming, as the sets of the Bhansali film were targeted for ostensibly showing a romance between Khilji and Padmavati. The director and his team dismissed the rumours.
