Robbery at city house

After pressing the calling bell, a gang of robbers stormed into the house of Abdur Rashid Sikdar at Dakkhin Paikpara in Mirpur at around 7:00pm.

They made the inmates hostage at gunpoint and looted Tk 30000 in cash, six tolas of gold ornaments and other valuables, said the police.

A case has been lodged with Mirpur Police Station.

None was arrested as of writing this report in yesterday evening.
