Fire at Gazipur textile factory
A devastating fire ripped through a textile factory at Konabari in Gazipur yesterday afternoon, destroying clothes, yarns and equipment.
The blaze broke out at Khadiza Knitwear Factory at about 2:30pm.
Three people were also injured in the fire.
The fire originated from electrical short circuit, sources said.
Fire fighters brought the blaze under control after three hours of struggle.
