Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury yesterday said four advisers to the caretaker government have resigned because of the failure of President/ Chief Adviser Iajuddin Ahmed to run the administration.
He also alleged that the chief adviser is hatching conspiracy so that the BNP-Jamaat alliance can regain state power through the 'backdoor'.
Nobody except BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has trust in the chief adviser, Badruddoza said at a programme at a community centre at Jatrabari in the city where more than a hundred leaders and activists of BNP and its front organisations joined the LDP.
He also urged the chief adviser to resign and appoint a neutral person as chief adviser in conformity with the constitution.
