2 domestic helps die in city

Rokeya Akhter, 10, a domestic help of Advocate Mizanur Rahman, fell down from the rooftop of a five-storey building at Khilgaon at 4:00pm.

Muhammad Shaheed, security guard of the house, rushed her to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where the doctors declared her dead.

Salma Akhter, 15, housemaid of Peter Mark Gomej, allegedly committed suicide at his house at East Razabazar.

Her body was found hanging from the ceiling with a scarf at about 1:30am.
