FSB discussion today
Forum for Secular Bangladesh (FSB) will hold a discussion on 'The contribution of India and other allies to the War of Liberation' today to mark the 35th anniversary of the victory in the liberation war.
The discussion will start at 3:00pm at the WVA Auditorium at Dhanmondi in the city. Two documentaries -- 'Amader Baachte Dao' (Let us live) by Shahriar Kabir and 'Nine Months to Freedom' by Sukhdev of India -- will also be screened at the programme.
Shariar Kabir, acting president of Forum for Secular Bangladesh, will present the keynote paper while Prof Kabir Chowdhury will chair the session.
Air Vice-Marshal (Retd) AK Khandakar, Bir Uttam, who was the deputy commander-in-chief of the Liberation War, will be present at the meeting as the chief guest.
