2 killed in road accident

The dead were identified as truck driver Abu Taleb, 40, of Comilla, and helper Noor Hossain, 35, of Noakhali.

Police said the accident took place near Canalghat at Daulatdia at about 4:00am when a Dhaka-bound goods-laden truck rammed into another truck, parked on the roadside.

The driver and helper of the Dhaka-bound truck died on the spot while as the trucks were damaged.

The bodies have been sent to Rajbari Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
