World Food Day today
World Food Day will be observed in the country as elsewhere in the globe today with a pledge to prevent hunger.
This year's theme of the day is "Investing in Agriculture for Food Security".
On the occasion, President Iajuddin Ahmed and Prime Minister Khaleda Zia gave separate messages.
