CU students lay siege to banks today
Pragotishil Chhatra Jote, Chittagong University (CU) unit, here yesterday brought out a protest procession demanding immediate withdrawal of increased price of CU admission forms.
The procession paraded city's thoroughfares and ended at News Market Intersection where they held a rally.
Addressing the rally, the Jote leaders threatened to enforce an indefinite student strike on the campus from November 1 if the university authorities try to bar the agitators from laying siege to the banks that will sell admission forms from today.
Samajtantrik Chhatra Front CU President Kanchan Sarker presided over the rally.
