MoU with Iran for cooperation in education
Bangladesh and Iran have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for strengthening the existing friendly relations between the two countries and expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
The MoU was signed by Education Minister Dr M Osman Farruk and Iranian Education Minister Mahmud Farsidi in Tehran on October 10 on behalf of their respective sides, said a press release here yesterday.
Under the MoU, Iran will provide assistance for improving the education system of Bangladesh at different levels, particularly technical and vocational education.
