More donation to AMCH

Southeast Bank Managing Director Neaz Ahmed hands over a cheque for Tk 20 lakh to Dhaka Ahsania Mission President and Chief Executive Kazi Rafiqul Alam at the Mission head office at Dhanmondi in the city yesterday

The Southeast Bank Managing Director Neaz Ahmed handed over the cheque for the amount to Dhaka Ahsania Mission President and Chief Executive Kazi Rafiqul Alam at the Mission head office at Dhanmondi in the city yesterday.

Against this donation a five-bed ward of the hospital will be named after the bank. Vice President & Head of Branch Mahfuzur Rahman Khan and Assistant Vice-President & Manager Operations of the bank Nadira Begum were present on the occasion.

Neaz said his bank is proud to participate in the effort of Dhaka Ahsania Mission to establish a world class cancer hospital in the country. He also assured continued support to cancer hospital. Rafiqul Alam narrated the present status of construction of the hospital at Uttara, Dhaka. He said all donations to this hospital are free from income tax. There are provisions for dedicating beds, wards and cabins in ones own name or in the name of one's beloved ones by donating fixed amount of money.
