Campaign to create awareness about dengue
Resource Integration Centre (RIC), a voluntary organisation, yesterday arranged different programmes to create public awareness about dengue at ward no. 54 in the city, says a press release.
As part of the programme, about 30 cleaners conducted a cleaning campaign at different roads and industries and sprayed medicines to destroy mosquito.
Besides, RIC also brought out a procession and distributed leaflets to create mass awareness about dengue.
The procession started from Maghbazar area at around 10:00am led by Word Commissioner Sharmila Imam that paraded different thoroughfares.
