Construction work going on...

Work on Tailer Dwip link road has been going on for six years, delaying the opening of Tailer Dwip Bridge on the river Shankha for movement of vehicular traffic. Although construction of the bridge linking Banshkhali and Anwara upazilas was completed around one and a half years ago, non-completion of the link road at the Banshkhali end of the bridge forces thousands of people to cross the river by ferry everyday.
