Blair admits colleagues gang up against him
British Prime Minister Tony Blair admitted yesterday he was facing a rough ride but insisted he would fight on as colleagues gang up against him.
Blair came out fighting at the end of a bruising week in which he lost a parliament vote for the first time in his eight-year premiership over plans to detain terror suspects for up to 90 days without charge.
The defeat was brought about by rebels from his own Labour Party and rumblings of revolt have since grown louder as they smell blood.
