1,701 more held
Police arrested some 1,701 people, including two listed criminals, on various charges from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours ending at 6.00am yesterday.
During the period, the law enforcers recovered 12 firearms and 16 bullets and filed nine cases against 10 people under the Arms Act.
