Lankan dry food for flood victims

The consignment includes biscuits donated by Maliban Biscuit and Ceylon Tea from Sri Lanka Tea Board, a foreign ministry press release said here yesterday.

The donation could be seen as a gesture of goodwill extended to the people and to assist the government of Bangladesh at this critical moment.

Abeyananda Dias, Director General of Sri Lanka Tea Board and Berty Wickramapala, Director of Maliban Group of Companies were present at the presentation ceremony held at the foreign ministry of Sri Lanka.
