Mobile children's park opens in city

State Minister for Cultural Affairs Begum Selima Rahman inaugurated the park at Mirpur city club ground in the evening.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister expressed the hope that the park would be able, to a large extent, to "fulfil the recreational needs of children-adolescents across the country".

The park will remain open from 11:30am to 9pm everyday in the next one and a half months at its present site.

The visitors will have opportunity to enjoy a number of new events like ranger, jumping frog, dragon coaster, swing chair, mini-train and battery-operated baby car.
