PM to launch 'Char Jibikayan' tomorrow
An exclusive economic programme styled "Char Jibikayan" (livelihood for the char people) will be launched tomorrow to enhance standard of life of the char people.
The project to be implemented in 8 years at a cost of Tk 500 crore will cover 149 unions of 28 upazila under Bogra, Jamalpur, Sirajganj, Gaibandha and Kurigram districts.
Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is expected to inaugurate the project atafunction at Bogra Rural Development Academy.
