Shibir cadre held in Rajshahi

Zafar Babu was arrested on charge of making an attempt on the life of Iqbal Hossain Dildar, a contractor, on August 14.

Police said Babu fired three shots at Dildar as he refused to pay Tk 50,000 in toll. Dildar, however, escaped unhurt.

Babu, an accused in ten cases, was also involved in January 13 gunfight on Rajshahi University campus and stabbing of Binodhpur Jubo Dal leader Abudur Rahim.
