Seminar on glaucoma held

Eskayef Bangladesh Ltd., a leading pharmaceutical company, and Allergan, a global leader of eye care products, jointly organised the seminar, with Prof Md Saleh Uddin, president of Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh, in the chair.

Dr Harsh Kumar, director of Glaucoma Services, Centre for Sight, and senior consultant of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital of New Delhi, presented the keynote paper on the latest management of glaucoma, one of the major causes of blindness.

Prof MA Hadi Faquir, president of Bangladesh Academy of Ophthalmology, and Dr Shagufa Anwar, product promotion and training manager of Eskayef Bangladesh, also spoke.

About 200 eminent ophthalmologists attended the seminar.
