More donations to PM's fund

Prime Minister Khaleda Zia received the cheques at her office and thanked the donors for their contribution.

She appreciated the activities of the organisations during the flood and expressed the hope that they would continue their activities in the post-flood period.

Khaleda also urged all concerned to stand by the people during the flood, which is still not over, and in the post-flood rehabilitation.

The organisations which gave the donations included Ministry of Religious Affairs, BNP Jessore district, Governing Body of Cadet Colleges, Prime Bank, Islampur Bastra Babosayi Samity, Islam Group, Dhaka Club, British American Tobacco, Bangladesh, Mapple Leaf International School, Dhaka Residential Model College, Vintage Textiles Limited, Bangladesh Homoeopathic Medicine Manufacturers Association, American Life Insurance Company and Association of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh.
