Prince Charles expresses sympathy for flood victims

"My heart goes out to the countless thousands of people who have lost members of their family, their homes and possessions, or who are suffering in so many other ways from the effects of this terrible disaster," said the Prince of Wales in a message to President Iajuddin Ahmed.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Bangladesh, for whom I have such affectionate regard, and with you and your colleagues as you tackle the enormous problems created by the flooding," he added.
