Kranti executives
Mahbubul Haider Mohon and Mujtaba Ahmed Murshed were elected president and general secretary of Kranti, a cultural organisation, for 2004-2006, says a press release.
The election was held at the Bangladesh Shihu Parishad auditorium in the city yesterday.
Other office-bearers are Vice-Presidents:K M Khurshid Alam and Jashim Uddin and Treasu-rer:Khorshed Alam.
Executive Committee members are Bulbul Moholanabish, Shamima Rahman Munni, Rezaul Karim, Fazlul Haque Ripon, Sheikh Milon, Arif Rahman, Amit Kumar Dey, Afruza Parveen Mukta, Rina Ferdousi and Morshed Alam Roni.
Anwarul Azim conducted the election as chief election commissioner.
