Over 1,900 held
Police arrested 1,974 people, including one identified criminal, on various charges during their countrywide drive in last 24 hours till 6.00am yesterday.
They also recovered 13 firearms and 24 bullets and filed eight cases against 15 people under the Arms Act, said a police headquarters release.
