Arrest of Balu's killers demanded

Gono Forum President Dr. Kamal Hossain expressed his deep concern at the killing of journalist Balu and demanded exemplary punishment to the killers.

Dr. Kamal said that the killing of Balu proved that the law and order situation is yet to be improved as the criminals get political shelter.

Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association President Barrister Rokanuddin Mahmud and Secretary Bashir Ahmed also condemned the killing of Bulu and demanded immediate punishment to the killers.

Dhaka University Teachers Association (Duta) President Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and General Secretary Akhteruzzaman demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment to the killers of Balu.

Teachers of Mass Communication and Journalism Department of Dhaka University, Coalition of Local NGO's Bangladesh, Sommilita Nagorik Samaj, Bangladesh Manobadhikar Sangbadik Forum, South Asian People's Union against Fundamentalism and Communalism, Bangladesh Rural Journalists' Forum, Jatiyatabadi Peshajibee Parishad and Jatiya Chatra Dhara also condemned the killing.
