Over 1,700 held
Police arrested 1,711 people, including four listed criminals, on various charges during their ongoing countrywide drive in last 24 hours till 6.00am yesterday.
They also recovered four firearms and 106 rounds of bullet and filed four cases against four people under the Arms Act, said a police headquarters release.
