The DB men, quoting the arrestees, said the ship, loaded with 12 thousand sacks of cement from Kolkata port seven months ago, was booked for Asam. But it anchored at Narayanganj port after crossing Khulna, Ashugnaj and Demra for reasons not known to the crews.
They said the crew sold seven thousand sacks of cement on the way.
Police is looking for one Ashraf Ali, owner of the ship and Gazi Imdad who owned the goods.
