Fire at Birdem canteen
A fire broke out in a canteen at the Birdem Hospital yesterday, creating panic among the doctors, patients and officials.
However, there were no casualties.
A welding work at the first floor canteen sparked off the fire at around 3:00pm, said a doctor.
The security men at the hospital extinguished the fire within ten minutes.
