WB team calls on Bhuiyan
The visiting three-member delegation of Quality Assurance Group (QAG) of World Bank called on LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan at his office yesterday.
The delegation led by Senior Advisor of World Bank, Washington DC, Gianni Brizzi, discussed different aspects of the on-going World Bank funded development projects of the ministry, apart from bilateral issues.
Terming the World Bank as one of the development partners, Bhuiyan said WB had been cooperating with Bangladesh in developing its infrastructures since the post liberation period.
Other members of the delegation were advisors of World Bank, Washington DC, John Hayward and Basil Kavalsky.
Secretary of LGRD and Cooperatives Ministry AHM Abul Kashem was present.
