Bomb attack on police van: 2 FIRs lodged
Two separate FIRs were lodged with Khulna thana in connection with bomb attack on a police patrol pick-up a few yards off the house of Khulna Mayor Shaikh Tayebur Rahman at Natun Bazar on Wednesday night.
Assistant Sub-inspector Arun Kumar Das filed the FIRs. None has been named as accused.
Two bombs were hurled at the police pick-up leaving two constables of Special Armed Forces (SAF) injured. The injured are Shamsu, 32, and Arefin,28.
