Obituary
Md Qumrul Islam, director of Agricultural Information Centre, Bangladesh and Saarc Agricultural Centre, died at a local clinic on Wednesday at the age of 56, says a press release.
He left behind his wife, son and daughter to mourn his death.
He was buried at Old Azimpur graveyard yesterday.
His qulkhwani will be held at his Kalyanpur residence in the city after Asr prayers tomorrow.
Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (Barc) will arrange a milad mahfil and a condolence meeting at its auditorium at 3.30pm on Sunday.
