Ershad undergoes angioplasty operation

Dr Shams Monwar has successfully planted the heart stein, along with his assistant Dr Litu.

Blockage in the artillery of the former president was diagnosed in March after an angiogram at the same hospital.

A party press release said Ershad was now cured and would be under medical supervision for two more days.

Ershad's wife, Bidisha, requested all not to visit him as advised by his physician and pray for his recovery.
