Obituary

Born in Dhaka in 1935, he did his Master's in chemistry from Dhaka University in 1954 and obtained Ph.D. degree from a university in Paris in 1963.

Dr Ahmed taught at Rajshahi University, Foujdarhat Cadet College, Pakistan Air Force Cadet College, Pabna Edward College and BDR Rifle College.

He also taught at universities in Iraq, Libya and Nigeria.

Dr Ahmed is survived by his wife, sons and daughters.

His qulkhwani will be held at his home after Maghrib prayers on Sunday.
