Bikalpo Dhara to contest by-polls

The seats in these two constituencies fell vacant following the resignation of Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan and Mahi B Chowdhury from parliament.

The decision to take part in the byelection was taken at a meeting of the BDJC yesterday.

Persons willing to seek nomination of the party have been requested to contact the central office at KC Memorial Clinic.

Meanwhile, Mahi B Chowdhury met Chief Election Commissioner MA Syed yesterday and demanded deployment of army during the parliamentary by-polls.
