Tiger kills honey collector

The victim, Taru Gazi, 38, of village Kashimari in Shyamnagar upazila went to the Sundarbans in the morning, taking permission from the forest department.

Police quoted witnesses as saying a tiger jumped on Gazi and killed him while he was collecting honey in the forest at noon.

Gazi's body was recovered yesterday and handed over to his relatives.
