2998 more held
Police arrested 2,998 people, including three listed criminals during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours ending at 6am yesterday.
During the drive, the law enforcers also recovered 16 firearms and seven other weapons and 69 bullets and filed four cases against 12 people under the Arms Act, says a police headquarters press release.
