Discussion on new year
The managing committee of the Sri Sri Gouranga Mahaprabhu Zew Bigrha Mandir organised a religious discussion in the city's Sutrapur area on Saturday to mark the Pahela Boishakh, the first day of Bangla year 1411, says a press release.
State Minister for Water Resources Goutam Chakrabarty laid the foundation of a new temple there before the discussion.
Presided over by Justice Gour Gopal Saha, the discussion was addressed by Golam Mohammad, Sarika Sarkar Bina, Umananda Shaha and Mongal Chandra Chand.
