Outlaw beaten to death

Police said over 100 people laid a siege to the house of Mobarak Hossain, 46, a member of Purba Banglar Communist Party, at about 10.30pm on Thursday.

They dragged Mobarak out of his home and beat him up, leaving him critically injured.

Mobarak was admitted to Sadar Hospital where he died at around 2.00am.

Police handed over the body to the family after an autopsy.
