Trader kidnapped in Bandarban

Shah Alam was abducted along with two tribesmen, Boli Ram and Nu Mong Pru, but the kidnappers let the tribesmen go free after taking the three to a place several kilometres off Kachhaptali.

The family members of Alam said the two tribesmen informed them of the incident and the kidnappers' demand.

Police said they were trying to rescue Alam. However, no groups have claimed the responsibility for the abduction.
