An International Trade Fair begins at the Range Police Ground in Sylhet tomorrow.

Firms from Bangladesh, Thailand, Korea, China, Malaysia, Iran and Taiwan are taking part in the month-long fair.

Finance and Planning Minister M Saifur Rahman will formally inaugurate the fair organised by Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

There will be 187 stalls and 16 pavilions in the fair, said the chamber sources.

The fair, which was scheduled to begin at Sylhet Government Alia Madrassah field on March 27, had to be shifted due to resistance from some student leaders of Islami Chhatra Shibir.
