Buddha Purnima observance body
Bangladesh Buddhist Federation has formed a committee to celebrate Buddha Purnima, a major religious festival of the Buddhists, on May 3, says a press release.
The Shuva Buddha Purnima Observance Committee 2004 was formed at a meeting on Saturday, with Federation President ML Barua in the chair.
Paritosh Barua and Rahul Barua have been made chairman and secretary general of the committee. Palash Barua will act as finance secretary.
